Senior Accountant
Accounting · 11–50 staff
A confidential accounting firm in East Orange, NJ is hiring a Senior Accountant to take ownership of month-end close, client reporting, and mentoring of junior staff. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership of the numbers, not just a seat in a bigger department.
You’ll work closely with firm leadership and a small team of staff accountants, with a clear path to take on more client relationships as you settle in.
What you’ll do
- Own the monthly close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
- Prepare accurate financial statements for a portfolio of clients
- Review and mentor junior staff on technical accounting questions
- Support tax season workflows and liaise with external auditors
- Identify process improvements to tighten close timelines
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a public accounting or multi-client environment
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close procedures
- CPA (or actively pursuing) preferred but not required
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort with standard accounting software

Service Manager
Packaging and Containers Manufacturing · 51–200 staff
A confidential packaging and containers manufacturer near Boston is hiring a Service Manager to lead the team responsible for keeping customer equipment running. You’ll be the point person when something goes wrong in the field, and the one setting the standard for how the service team operates day to day.
This is a plant with a growing installed base of equipment, so there’s real room to build out the service function as it matures.
What you’ll do
- Manage a team of field service technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Own customer escalations end-to-end, from first call to resolution
- Track service KPIs — response time, first-time fix rate, uptime — and report on trends
- Coordinate parts, tooling, and preventive-maintenance schedules with the operations team
- Build and refine service procedures as the customer base grows
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in a service, maintenance, or technical operations role within manufacturing or industrial equipment
- 2+ years directly managing a team of technicians or service staff
- Comfortable reading mechanical or electrical schematics and troubleshooting equipment issues
- A strong communicator who can de-escalate a frustrated customer as easily as a schedule conflict
- Willing to be hands-on in the field when the team needs it
A recruiter reads your profile personally and represents you directly to this client. The company name stays confidential until you’ve both agreed to move forward.
Door Installer
Design Services · 51–200 staff
A confidential design and installation services company in Chicago is hiring a Door Installer to handle residential and light-commercial door installations from measurement through final walkthrough. You’ll be the last set of hands on a project before a client sees the finished result, so precision and a steady pace both matter here.
Most days run out of a company vehicle with a set route, working alongside a small, experienced crew.
What you’ll do
- Install interior and exterior doors, frames, and hardware to spec and to code
- Take accurate field measurements and flag discrepancies before install day
- Read basic blueprints and work orders to plan each job
- Maintain a clean, safe job site and represent the company well in clients’ homes and businesses
- Coordinate with the scheduling team on daily routing and job sequencing
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of hands-on door, millwork, or general carpentry installation experience
- Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Comfortable lifting and maneuvering heavy doors and materials throughout the day
- A steady, detail-oriented approach — this is visible, finished work
- Basic hand tools of your own; the company supplies specialty equipment
A recruiter reads your profile personally and represents you directly to this client. The company name stays confidential until you’ve both agreed to move forward.
